Videbaek's Newspaper
It is a tradition that students from Mallorca visit Videbaek school , this is the third time.
And the English teacher and coordinator of the project in Denmark Helle Christensen says that this visits give the Danish and Spanish students the opportunity to communicate in English.
There are 29 students from Mallorca and 9 of them are boys the rest are all girls, this means that some of the Spanish boys have to stay with more than one family whereas the girls stay with the same one .
Rikke Beck –Hansen is one of the girls who has a student form Mallorca, her name is Ruth, and she is fascinated about the Danish food and the way the Danish people live.
“ Food is really good here in Denmark , in Mallorca we do not eat so many cakes “ says Ruth; that is the reason why Rikke’s mother bakes all the time.
Rikke’s impression is also very positive , however she thinks that the Spanish students are a little slow when they are walking .
The students have been in contact through internet and mail since last year .When the Mallorcan students return home they will keep in contact and write letters to each other. In May the students from Videbaek will visit Mallorca
